1. CUSTOMER CARE AND SUPPORT
(We’re here for you!)

Got a question that isn’t covered in our Shop Policies? Compliments, concerns, or suggestions for improvement? We welcome your feedback and we’d be glad to help! You can reach us via our “Contact” form or email us at hello@wildhoneywords.com. We typically respond to messages within 24–72 hours. On Fridays, we unplug for a sabbath refresh but in the meantime, you can still browse the shop and place orders, and our fulfillment team and shipping partners won’t miss a beat.

Looking for a Wild Honey Words item you've seen before but aren't finding on our site now? Already tried typing the keywords in the bottom menu Search Bar? Give us a holler. If we’re not currently carrying that item, we’ll give you the scoop on whether it’s retired or just on vacation. Our offerings are subject to change seasonally and based on product availability and other factors. If you're missing something, we want to know! Whenever possible, we’ll consider bringing it back, or we'll be happy to recommend another item that may spark your fancy.


2. PRODUCT VARIATIONS

(Every human wants to know, What’s normal?)

We make every effort to provide accurate images and product descriptions so you can shop with confidence. Because we keep a human touch in the creation process and our products are made with an assortment of materials and printing techniques, a little variation is normal.

Due to the brightness of backlit screens, colors may look somewhat different on your device than they appear on physical materials such as fabric, paper, and ceramics.

Exact print placement may differ a bit from sample photos.

Occasionally, you may notice that a product arrives with a slight odor (as many of us do after a long trip, let’s be honest). Fear not—this is temporary! Simply remove any plastic packaging and give the item time to air out.

Holiday Shipping Guidelines
Currently, all of our orders are sent via Standard Shipping (expedited shipping is not available). Please be aware that order fulfillment processes and shipping services may be delayed due to severe weather, possible supply chain delays, and other unforeseen circumstances. We cannot guarantee any order will arrive before a specific holiday. For details, please see Topic #4: Shipping Info (below). 


** HOW TO SEND AN E-GIFT CARD **

1. Purchase a Wild Honey Words E-Gift Card HERE. Select the card value of your choice ($20, $25, $30, $40, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, or $250 USD), then add the gift card to your cart. On the checkout page, please fill in YOUR OWN name and email address. (You'll provide your recipient's name and email in Step 2.)

2. Fill in your recipient's details HERE, along with your gift message. This second part is the place to let us know where and when to send the e-gift card and how you want it personalized.

3. Sit back, relax, and get your joy-of-giving glow on! If we need to clarify or confirm information regarding your delivery preferences, we’ll contact you. When we send the e-gift card to your gift recipient, we’ll blind copy you on the email so you can rest assured that it was delivered.

Please allow up to 72 hours for processing and delivery of e-gift cards. 

At this time, our e-gift cards are single-use, meaning the balance cannot be partially used and applied to multiple orders—the full value of the card must be applied to a single order. For reference, we’ve included the complete terms and conditions below.

Kindly note that Wild Honey Words is not responsible for delivery delays or e-gift cards that are mis-delivered or undeliverable due to reasons beyond our control, including being provided with an incorrect email address for the gift recipient or being unable to reach the gift giver to clarify information prior to delivery. If you discover a mistake in any of the info you gave us, please contact us immediately at support@wildhoneywords.com and we’ll do everything we can to make adjustments if the e-gift card has not yet been delivered.

E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions: 
Single-use digital gift cards to Wild Honey Words are valid only for purchase of goods at wildhoneywords.com. The unique code associated with each e-gift card will be delivered via email. The full value must be applied to a single order. For successful processing, order total *after* e-gift card code is applied must be a minimum of $0.50 USD (fifty cents).

At Checkout, e-gift card code must be entered in Discount Code field under Order Summary and may not be combined with a promotional code. (Gift card may be used with ApplePay from standard checkout page only; Instant Checkout does not include Discount Code field.) Product prices do not include shipping fees, applicable sales or use taxes, or applicable import taxes for shipping destinations outside of the U.S. and U.S. Territories.

E-gift card has no expiration date and no additional fees associated with usage or inactivity. Non-reloadable card. May not be redeemed for cash or used to purchase other gift cards. Gift card code may not be replaced if lost or stolen. Void where prohibited.


** HOW TO SHIP AN ORDER AS A GIFT **

If you want a physical gift to be shipped directly to your recipient, here’s what to do at Checkout:

1. Fill in YOUR OWN email address. This is where your order confirmation (receipt, including prices) and shipment notification (with tracking info) will automatically be sent. And, in the event that we need to clarify or troubleshoot something regarding your order, we’ll reach out to you personally at this email address.

2. For the Shipping Address, please provide YOUR GIFT RECIPIENT’S STREET ADDRESS

3. In the Notes or Instructions field, please type the word “GIFT.” To request the addition of a message to your gift recipient, read on.


Gift Receipts and Messages*
Our packing slips double as gift receipts: they don’t show prices and they can be used to request a size exchange later if needed. You may request in the “Notes or Instructions” section the addition of a brief gift message (such as a greeting and/or who the gift is from). What you write here comes to Wild Honey Words staff and is not automatically relayed to customers, but we'll do our best to add your message to a gift receipt whenever logistically possible. Here are two examples of what to write in the Notes or Instructions section:

Example A:
GIFT. Message: Happy Birthday, Jamal! Love, Granddaddy

Example B:
GIFT. “Congratulations, Naima! From: Luz”

*Due to changes in the logistics industry, certain WHW items may be made at partner facilities instead of our order fulfillment headquarters. For these particular items, gift receipts (with or without messages or sender names) may NOT be available at this time. These items include journals, metal prints, and some framed prints (depending on the shipping address). We'll include your gift messages on the packing slip whenever possible.

Gift Wrapping

While we aren’t able to offer gift wrapping at this time, every item comes wrapped in love!


4. SHIPPING INFO

Shipping Services
Our order fulfillment team partners with various shipping services. Most products shipped within the United States are sent via the USPS First Class Mail or UPS. Packages sent via USPS First Class Mail, UPS, or FedEx include liability insurance from the shipping service provider for loss or damage up to $100. 

Free Tracking
All of our shipping rates include easy, one-click tracking so you can follow your package’s journey till you have it in your hot little hands! (See: Notifications)

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated during the checkout process. We’ll factor in the unique variables of your order and pass along savings wherever possible—for example, if you’re purchasing more than one item that can be shipped together from the same location.

Notifications
Once you complete your order and your payment has been accepted, a confirmation message and a copy of your order invoice will be emailed to you. Once your order is fulfilled (printed/embroidered/engraved and assembled) and your package ships, you’ll receive a second email with tracking details. Just click the “Track your order” button to see your shipment status and every step of its progress. If you order more than one item, your order may arrive in multiple packages on different dates due to differences in the location and length of the order fulfillment process for various products. In this case, you will receive email notifications for each separate shipment. Please check your "junk" mailbox as sometimes confirmation emails may end up there. 

Delivery Estimates Are Not Guarantees
For deliveries to the U.S., general estimates are provided in the shipping section at checkout. While we do our best to provide estimated delivery windows that are as accurate and speedy as possible, we cannot promise that your package will arrive by a specific date due to many factors beyond our control. Please bear this in mind if you are ordering items for an occasion with a hard deadline, especially during the busy holiday season (October through January).

Lost or Delayed Packages
Before submitting your order, please be sure to double-check the shipping address. Wild Honey Words is not responsible for replacing items that are lost or delayed in transit due to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses. (See also: Packages Returned to Sender)

In the unlikely event that a package never arrives, if your tracking info confirms that the package was lost en route (and it is not due to an error in the shipping address provided), please email us at [email protected] within twenty-one (21) calendar days after the estimated delivery date. For delivery issues unrelated to address corrections, our order fulfillment team will take care of creating and shipping a replacement item(s) free of charge.

Missing or Stolen Packages
Wild Honey Words is not liable for missing or stolen packages. If your tracking details show that the package was delivered but you have not received it, we offer a few friendly suggestions:

  1. Check with all household members in case one of them  received the package earlier.
  2. Check alternate entrances to your building and side areas where a package may have been left in an effort to be discreet for security reasons.
  3. Ask your neighbors if they saw the package delivered or whether it was delivered to their house/unit number by accident.
  4. If 24 hours have passed since your tracking info says the package was delivered, please contact the delivery company directly so they can help you with next steps. For orders sent via the United States Postal Service, please contact USPS Customer Service at +1-800-222-1811 Monday-Friday 8AM-8:30PM (EST) and Saturday 8AM-6PM (EST).

Packages Returned to Sender
If your package is returned to one of our order fulfillment centers because it was undeliverable, unclaimed, or refused by the addressee, in most cases, we can replace and/or resend it upon request, if you’re willing to cover the cost of having the order recreated and/or reshipped. Please contact us at [email protected] within 21 days of the original estimated delivery date regarding returned shipments. Packages will be held for no more than 30 days.

International Shipping Policies
Wild Honey Words is based in the United States. If your order’s destination is outside of the U.S. and Puerto Rico, your package recipient will be responsible for paying any applicable customs fees, duties, or additional taxes on merchandise delivered to that country, which may be collected at the time of delivery by your carrier. (For example, all imports to Australia are subject to a 10% GST tax on low-value goods.) If customs fees are required in order for the package to be claimed and these fees are not paid, the package may be denied entry to the country and returned to one of our order fulfillment centers. Please be aware that in this case, your order will not be reshipped and a refund will not be issued.

Thanks to our partnerships with two secure payment processing platforms, PayPal and Stripe, we accept an abundance of digital payment methods, listed below. Payment is due upon completing the checkout process. Payment information must be submitted by an adult (age 18+).

Product Pricing
Prices listed on our product pages do not include shipping rates or applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout as they are based on the shipping and billing addresses. Wild Honey Words reserves the right to revise product prices at any time and to correct any pricing errors. 

Sales Tax: Any applicable sales tax will be calculated automatically during the checkout process. Location-specific tax exemptions on eligible items will be applied.

Import Taxes: Please note that customers/package recipients are responsible for any applicable customs fees, import duties, or taxes on international shipments.
 

6. REPLACEMENTS, EXCHANGES, AND RETURNS

Replacements Due to Quality Issues or Damage in Transit

In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or otherwise flawed, please
email us at [email protected] within fourteen (14) days of delivery and include the following:

1) your order number
2) a detailed description of the problem
3) photos of the product and the packaging it arrived in

Upon review by our order fulfillment partners, pending approval, the damaged or faulty item will be replaced and shipped to you free of charge.


Exchanges and Returns for Other Reasons

As Wild Honey Words is an artist-owned, sustainability-conscious small business—meaning each item you order is printed especially for you or your gift recipient at the time of purchase—
unfortunately, we are not able to accept product exchanges or returns. Please be sure to read product descriptions thoroughly before checkout so that any surprises are only the best kind. 

If you believe an item you ordered doesn’t accurately match the images and information on our website, please let us know via our Contact form or email us at support@wildhoneywords.com so we can respond to your concerns.

If you’re unhappy with your merchandise for some other reason, please contact us at [email protected] or via our Contact form and let us know in detail the reason(s) why, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
